Yvette Nicole Brown 'So Sick' Of Stephen A. Smith Criticism Of Will Smith

Yvette Nicole Brown has "had it, officially!" with Stephen A. Smith's never-ending criticism of Will Smith.

After the TV personality said that the Oscar winner needed to make up for the black community in the wake of Chris Rock's slap, the "Big Shot" alum slammed Stephen on her X, formerly Twitter, account.

"I am SO SICK of this dude's idiotic, pseudo-intellectual, GARBAGE hot takes," the 52-year-old raged. "He does NOT speak for the Black community even when he speaks very LOUDLY."

"I don't need a sit down with Will Smith. He and I are good. And I'm speaking for just me. Not anybody else," she went on fuming. "This is just me too. I've had ENOUGH of #SAS."

Not done getting things off her chest, Yvette fumed in a follow-up post, "It's time SAS just take the Fox New bag." She added, "Complete the gift and get out our faces."

Yvette's angry posts came after Stephen claimed that people were not ready to see Will at the cinema following the 2022 Oscar incident. However, contrary to his statement, Will's new movie "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" managed to crush the box office.

Stephen spoke on behalf of the black community, but many people disagreed with him. He stated that he intended his remarks to be understood by Black people who aspired to be in Hollywood. He claimed he was worried white people would caricature Black performers as a result of Will's actions.

"It was a blemish on all of us," he said of the actor. "Because I know how much white America reveres Will Smith and the thinking along the lines in my mind was, hell if he did that, what would the rest of us do. There are certain things that happen in the lives of an individual where those incidences are used as a license to castigate the rest of us."

As I said in a previous post and on Kris Avalon Unfiltered, Stephen needs to stop trying to speak for everyone, and learn to speak for himself. Better yet, stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to (which is sports), and leave the pop culture stuff to those of us who knows what we're talking about.
