After four seasons, NBC has decided to pull the plug on JLo‘s reality competition series World of Dance. The series featured Lopez, who serves as a judge and executive producer – the series featured groups of dancers who competed against each other for $1 million dollars.
World of Dance premiered in 2017 and featured Lopez alongside singer/dancer NeYo and dancer/choreographer Derek Hough and did pretty well during it’s first three seasons. It was it’s fourth season that saw the series hit a huge decline in ratings.
Although World of Dance may not have been a huge hit here in the States, it still remains a ratings juggernaut in Poland, The Philippines, and Thailand.
Quiet as it’s kept I didn’t like the series. I actually liked So You Think You Can Dance much better than WoD.
