Jennifer Lopez is back with new music, and like Madonna during her Madame X era she’s recruited none other than Reggaeton’s residential Colombian fuck boy Maluma.
It makes sense that they would collaborate on music together, and turn the videos into a mini-movie, since they both star in the upcoming film Marry Me.
The duo have also worked on the entire film’s soundtrack, which is set to drop on Valentine’s Day, 2021. That is, if movie theaters are open by then.
Pa Ti is pretty catchy, but there’s been so much good Reggaeton coming out year, it will be forgotten by October. I was bored with Lonely, although the homage to Chicago was a nice touch.
Maybe J Lo need to reinvent herself by starring in a Broadway show, since the music she’s been releasing as of late has been quite forgettable.
As for Maluma, just like his latest album, I was quite bored with his performance. The pretty boy/ dirty boy schtick is getting quite tired, so I’m hoping once he’s done with this Papi Juancho era that he will step out of his comfort zone and give us something a little different, like he did with 11:11.
Anyways, check out the videos for Pa Ti and Lonely below…
