Le grande dame Vanessa Williams is back with the visual to her impeccable dance track Legs, the first single off her upcoming album.
"I'm the best I've ever been. I'm about to give them hell again," Vanessa Williams sings in her new single, 'Legs' -- before declaring, "I’m not close to through, not while I still got these legs." The track is the first single off a new album due out later this year, her first in 15 years and from her own record label, Mellian Music.
'The Legs Are The Last To Go' is the title of the 2008 memoir of legendary stage and screen actress, Diahann Carroll. It became apparent to singer, actress, and cultural icon Vanessa Williams, that this would be the inspiration for her long awaited reclamation of her status as dance music royalty. With the assistance of producer Chantry Johnson, songwriter Kjersti Long, and longtime collaborator Kipper Jones, Vanessa Williams has done just that, re-emerging with her new single and music video “Legs (Keep Dancing)!”
Directed by Mike Ruiz, the video not only features Wilhelmina SLAYter putting all of your up and coming and current pop faves to shame by keeping up with her much younger dancers, but the visual also features a cameo from fellow Ugly Betty alum Michael Urie.
