Just moments ago, Out singer/songwriter Troye Sivan unleashed his unapologetically queer visual for his latest single Rush, and I have to say it is everything, and my kind of party.
Not only that, but he took to social media and revealed that his new album Something To Give Each Other will be dropping on October 13.
This will be his first album of new material since Bloom in 2018.
The Australian pop star states that Something To Give Each Other is “a celebration of sex, dance, sweat, community, queerness, love and friendship”.
Here's what he also had tp say about the creation of his new single.
“‘Rush’ is the feeling of kissing a sweaty stranger on a dancefloor, a two-hour date that turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer,” Sivan said in a statement. “Party after party, after party after after party. All of my experiences from a chapter where I feel confident, free and liberated. Independent, yet somehow the most connected to the music and community around me.”
Fresh out of a period where social distance was enforced, Sivan says he found himself wanting to write music that celebrated “the joy of human connection”.
The album features writing contributions from the likes of Oscar Görres (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Sam Smith), Ian Kirkpatrick (Dua Lipa, Britney Spears), Leland (Selena Gomez, Ava Max) and Styalz Fuego (Khalid, Imagine Dragons).
