Two of my favorite character actors Michael Shannon and Shea Wingham star in the new indie film The Quarry (Lionsgate) about an escaped convict (Wingham) who kills a gay minister named David Martin and assumes his identity. Shannnon plays the police chief who becomes increasingly suspicious of Wingham’s character.
