TRAILER TRASH: THE BATMAN

On Saturday during DC Fandome they unleashed the trailer for one of their highly anticipated IPs The Batman.

This was the second trailer for the film released, and I have to say I have never been more excited to see a Batman movie until I saw where director Matt Reeves is taking visually.

I saw elements of Christopher Nolan’s Batverse mixed in with David Fincher‘s 7even, where Paul Dano‘s The Riddler feels like a serial killer.

I also like the fact that based on the trailer that we’re getting more of the caped crusader in detective mode and less of him as the playboy philanthropist dealing with the trauma of losing his parents as a child.

I really feel it in my bones that Robert Pattinson aka Battinson is going to be my favorite Batman since Michael Keaton.

I’m also excited to see what Zoe Kravitz will bring to the franchise with her interpretation of Selena Kyle/Catwoman as well as Colin Farrell, who is unrecognizable as Penguin.

The Batman is set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
