I will admit, when I first heard about a Predator film set in the past with Native Americans, I gave the hit and miss franchise the quickest side-eye. After watching the trailer, I have to admit my interest in this film has definitely spiked.
Amber Midthunder plays a Comanche warrior trying to prove herself as a hunter. While on a hunt for a massive bear, Naru has her prize snatched right out from under her by an invisible beast, which she soon realizes is the greatest hunter in the entire galaxy. We’re of course talking about the horror icon known as Predator.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), be sure to check out the Predator hunting it’s Prey when it drops on Hulu August 5.
