The fierce ballroom competition series Legendary is back for a third season, and from the looks of things, there’s a new judge joining the panel, and plenty of drama to go around.
First, Megan the Stallion is out, and actress/singer Keke Palmer is in as the show’s new judge. Also, in addition to Jameela Jamil, Leiomy Maldonado and Law Roach returning to the judge’s panel, the audience is back, after the series went audience-less in the season 1 finale and throughout season 2 due to Covid 19.
The celebrity guest judges this season include Kelly Rowland, Issa Rae, Anitta, Leslie Jones, and RuPauls’s Drag Race season 8 winner, and We’re Here star Bob The Drag Queen.
Speaking of Drag Race, I can’t wait to see season 9 and All Stars 3 alum Aja compete in the House of LaBeija.
Oh, and before I forget, ballroom icon and Pose star Dominique Jackson will be returning to the judges panel after getting into a heated debate during season 1 with Legendary judge Law Roach.
Legendary, produced by Scout Productions, sees 10 Houses of the ballroom scene voguing, twirling, duck-walking, and dipping in competition to win a $100,000 cash prize.
According to EW, HBO Max will drop the first three episodes on premiere day, Thursday, May 19. It will continue to release three episodes in subsequent weeks until the show debuts the 10th and final episode on June 9. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on HBO Max.
