TRAILER TRASH: HALLOWEEN KILLS

After it prematurely leaked a week before it was supposed to be shown in theaters before The Forever Purge, Blumhouse/Universal has unleashed the brutally violent trailer for Halloween Kills, the highly-anticipated sequel to the hit 2018 film.

The sequel picks up where Halloween 2018 left off, where Laurie, her daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson left Michael Myers for dead in her home/fortress. But their exhale moment doesn’t last for long, as firefighters head to her burning house where Michael is left to burn.

As you can see from the trailer he escapes the fire, killing the firefighters and anyone who gets in his way.

To say this sequel is going to be a bloodbath of sorts is an understatement, as from what we’ve gathered from people attached to the film and the trailer, the town decides to take matters into their own hands and opts to end the boogeyman once and for all.

In addition to Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer and Andi Matichak, the film also features Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle,  Kyle Richards returning as Lindsey Wallace and Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers.

The current theater release date for Halloween Kills is October 15, 2021
