Trailer Trash: Chucky Season 2

Not too long ago it was announced that the second season of SyFy channel series Chucky will be premiering on our TV screens this October.

At San Diego Comic Con, not only did they announce an official premiere date (October 5, 2022), but they also dropped the trailer.

We get those hilarious Chucky one-liners, some returning characters (Jake, Devon and Lexi), and the return of Glen and Glenda, the nonbinary child of Chucky and Tiffany.

Meg Tilly (Psycho 2, Body Snatchers), Gina Gershon (Bound, Killer Joe), Joe Pantoliano (Memento), Tony Nappo (Saw II), and Sutton Stracke (“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”) also star.

Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly will both be back for “Chucky” Season 2, with returning cast also including Zackary Arthur as Jake Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle and Barbara Alyn Woods as Mayor Michelle Cross.

Devon Sawa will be playing a priest in the second season, with Lara Jean Chorostecki (NBC’s “Hannibal”) more recently signing on in an undisclosed role.
