The Breakfast Club discuss Meg Thee Stallion Low Ticket Sales For Arena Tour

Despite Megan Thee Stallion being a Grammy winner, The Breakfast Club co-hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Jess HE-larious don't believe that Tina Snow can sell out arenas.

The debate began on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, after Ticketmaster started to offer tickets for as low as $24.

Charlamagne Tha God did not hesitate to share his thoughts about Megan’s upcoming concerts. The radio host had a lot to say about the Houston rapper’s first tour on Monday’s episode of ‘The Breakfast Club.’ Charlamagne questioned if Megan’s tour was actually selling tickets and later asked if she would be performing at arenas.

“If she’s doing arenas, she shouldn’t be doing arenas. She’s not an arena artist. Salute to Megan Thee Stallion, but she’s not an arena artist, maybe a theatre artist. Arenas is a lot,” he said.

While on air, Charlamagne continued to explain that he believes Megan is incapable of selling out venues at this point in her career. He also said that her catalog of music does not measure up to other chart-topping musicians like Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown, who will also be taking the stage this summer.

Despite Charlamagne’s beliefs, Megan’s fans are excited to see her hit the stage. The ‘HISS’ musician gave her fans a taste of what’s to come after she dropped a new freestyle on Monday. Megan declared the series as “MeganMonday.” The new track sees the Houston Hottie spitting bars over Gucci Mane’s 2010 hit, ‘I Think I Love Her.’ Fans immediately gave Megan credit for the new track and complimented her pen game.

Per usual Charlamagne and the Pips sit on that tired ass syndicated show and just talk out of their asses without having all the facts.

First, even though there are some tickets prices at $200 and $300, I would be grateful if my favorite artist was charging $24 for concert tickets, especially with so many shows being overpriced.

It's a damned if you do, and damned if you don't situation, because the same people I'm seeing online bitching over their favorite artist charging $3,000 for front row tickets plus a meet and greet, why would you complain if tickets were $24?

Second, you're saying Megan doesn't have big enough of a catalog to sell out arenas. How do you explain an artist like Olivia Rodrigo, who did four sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden in New York with just two albums?

Also lest we forget Jennifer Lopez, who has been making music for over 15 years is struggling to sell out multiple nights of her upcoming arena tour.

So do I think Megan can sell out arenas? Based on the second video The Breakfast Club ended up doing after being dragged on social media, she has.

Based on performances I've seen of her, Megan gives sexy costumes, stage choreography, and besides the hit songs from her music catalog she can also perform some deep cuts off her mixtapes.

Megan Thee Stallion will kick off her Hot Girl Summer tour on May 14 alongside GloRilla.
