Taylor Swift Addresses Bisexuality Rumors

For years rumors have been swirling about Taylor Swift's sexuality. Now the singer is finally setting the record "straight."

In the prologue for her “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” album, Swift, 33, wrote a frustrated note, saying that she started only hanging out with women after it “became clear” that she could not casually date or even “platonically hang out with” men without people assuming they were “sleeping” together.

“And so I swore off hanging out with guys. Dating, flirting, or anything that could be weaponized against me by a culture that claimed to believe in liberating women but consistently treated me with the harsh moral codes of the Victorian era,” she wrote, according to screenshots leaked on Twitter Thursday.

Swift, who has recently been making waves attending NFL games to support her latest rumored beau, NFL star Travis Kelce, 33, has been romantically linked to a slew of men in the past, including Harry Styles, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hiddleston and Joe Jonas.

“I swore off dating and decided to focus only on myself, my music, my growth, and my female friendships. If I only hung out with my female friends, people couldn’t sensationalize or sexualize that right? I would learn later on that people could and people would,” she bemoaned in the alleged prologue.

For years, rumors have swirled around the singer’s sexuality, with fans speculating that she’s dated some women she’s been photographed with – especially model Karlie Kloss, 31.

There’s even a subreddit called “Gaylor Swift.”

Jennifer Lawrence, 33, has previously stated, “I’d like to know what’s going on between Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss.”

There’s also been past rumors about Swift and “Glee” star Dianna Agron, 37.

In a 2019 interview with Vogue, Swift spoke about the LGBTQ+ community, saying, “Rights are being stripped from basically everyone who isn’t a straight white cisgender male. I didn’t realize until recently that I could advocate for a community that I’m not a part of.”

The re-release of Swift’s “1989” album is now out.

I'm side-eyeing Tay Tay on this because I do believe she may have experimented with women throughout her adult life. Maybe if she wrote about those discretions she'd have more fans than the basic ones she's accumulated over the years.
