Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Indicted for Sex Trafficking and Racketeering With Allegations Dating to 2009

Diddy is officially facing serious criminal charges following his arrest in New York on Monday night.

The rapper, 54, has been charged with three crimes - racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

An indictment unsealed this morning revealed revolting details of his alleged behavior - but did not name the many people accused of helping him perpetuate the vile abuse.

Among the most sordid revelations was that more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube were seized from his homes. Combs was also accused of making women have sex with male prostitutes until they were so worn out they required IV drips. Some of the allegations listed date back to 2009.

The indictment continues: “To do so, Combs relied on the employees, resources and influence of the multifaceted business empire that he led and controlled — creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

The star was arrested overnight in New York after traveling voluntarily to the city, according to his attorney.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly in a statement after the arrest. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

Agnifilo added, “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Diddy, formerly known as Puff Daddy, is expected to appear in front of a federal judge at 2.30pm EST.

Over the past year, Combs has been sued by people who say he subjected them to physical or sexual abuse. He has denied many of those allegations and his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, called the new indictment an 'unjust prosecution.'
