Saucy Santana has unleashed the visual for his latest single Booty, and I have to say it's a chop. He tries his best to channel Beyoncé (someone who he came under fire for talking mess about when his old tweets about her and Blue Ivy recently resurfaced on social media), but ends up coming off like an uninspired, bargain basement mess.
Latto even upstages him, not only with her glam, but with her verse as well. Also, how are you up in your video in a crop top with what looks like a bullet or stab wound on your stomach, like you just got out of a shootout at your local Chuckaleesa strip club?
So what I'm getting at is, the fashions wasn't giving, and you let your featured artist upstage you in your own song. He spent more time trying to emulate Beyoncé that I didn't get a sense of who Saucy is in the video.
It's cute that he's showing body positivity and has a lot of celebrity cameos twerking up in the video, such as Nikita Dragun, Kornbread, Tyshon Lawrence, Keegan Whicker, Julian Burzynski, Markell Washington, Cristian Dennis, Kelechi, to name a few.
Unfortunately in my opinion it's not enough to hold the smallest candle to Crazy In Love, since both songs sample The Chi Lites' 'Are You My Woman.'
