The drama of RuPaul's Drag Race meets the chaos ofThe Boulet Brothers' Dragula — with a hint of Big Brother competition — in Entertainment Weekly's exclusive trailer for the new, wild satirical competition series Drag House Rules.
EW's sneak peek (above) at the upcoming six-episode series reunites six Drag Race alums, plus one Dragula winner for a unique spin on the reality competition genre, with Jujubee, Manila Luzon, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Laganja Estranja, Rock M Sakura, Tammie Brown, and Biqtch Puddin' all living under one roof as they vie for a mysterious $100,000 prize package that may or may not come with a few caveats.
As the clip teases, this "competition" series might not be all that it seems, as the queens involved get into some curiously violent predicaments, including the cast attempting to drag Silky across the floor, Rock kicking a crew member, lots of swinging baseball bats, and Jujubee crying to "go home" after imploring host Tony Moore to reveal more about the stipulations around the increasingly foreboding winnings.
The queens also take turns voting each other out of their secluded manor, raising the stakes for this peculiar "contest" even further.
"Drag House Rules raises the stakes with seven legendary drag queens living under one roof, battling it out in a competition full of alliances, betrayals, and jaw-dropping moments," the synopsis reads. "The game sounds simple enough, but what begins as a glamorous high-strakes competition quickly unravels into pure, unpredictable chaos. Secrets are exposed and alliances crumble as the queens fight to stay on top — in ways no one saw coming."
Though not part of the main cast, Drag Race icon Jasmine Masters also appears in the series, which was written and directed by Trixie & Katya Live — The Last Show codirector, John Mark Hostetler.
Drag House Rules premieres Feb. 21 on OUTtv. Watch the trailer exclusively on EW's website.
