A huge conDRAGulations to the very busy RuPaul, who raised a whopping $97,266 for Planned Parenthood. On Monday the drag icon made an appearance on a very special episode of The Price Is Right titled The Price Is Right At Night with RuPaul. There she played a plethora of games with contestants, including Range Game, Any Number, The Grocery Game, Showcase Showdown, One Away, Most Expensive, and Plinko.
“I am playing for Planned Parenthood which provides vital, and often free services for men and women,” Ru said on the episode.
I was also surprised to learn that while playing The Grocery Game, Mama Ru hasn’t stepped foot in a grocery store in almost three decades. I get that you share a farm in Wyoming with your husband Georges, where you can pretty much grow and pick your own fruit, vegetables and animals (that is if they have chickens, cows and pigs on the farm), but I’m quite curious who does the grocery shopping when you’re in LA?
This is not RuPaul’s first time at the game show rodeo. In addition to hosting his very own game show Gay For Play on Logo, and his recent appearance on The Price Is Right, the mother of all drag queens is set to appear alongside Michelle Visage, Raven, Latrice Royale and Carson Kressley on Celebrity Family Feud. No word when that episode will air (I know they recently aired the CFF episode of Family Feud with both casts of Queer Eye), but it’s set to drop this Spring/Summer.
