The 30-year-old Pose actress, who uses she/they pronouns, announced her engagement to Elias Acevedo with a sweet picture shared on Instagram on Wednesday, March 26.

"My beloved said yes. šŸ’," Moore, 30, captioned the photo, which shows Moore and Acevedo smiling towards the camera while taking a selfie in front of a waterfall. She continued, "Alhamdulillah. This man lifted me up, and brought me closer to God. Im so grateful. Beyond words. Mashallah, he saved me in ways Im so grateful to not even know the full extent of."

Moore concluded her post with a simple message: "Thank you my beloved."

Acevedo shared his fiancĆ©eā€™s post to his Instagram Stories after teasing the big announcement in a text post.Ā "Iā€™ve been sharing some bad news lately and I thank you so much for holding that with me now I want to share some good news with youā€¦ā€ he wrote, before sharing Mooreā€™s post, which he captioned with a red heart and ring emoji.Ā

The news elicited happy reactions from Moore's former Pose costars. Michaela JaĆ© Rodriguez wrote, "Omg! Iā€™m just seeing this! Congratulations Indya!!!!" Additionally, Ryan Jamaal Swain commented, "Sibling. So happy for your lights to find each other. Peace šŸ«‚"

The two have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

On Feb. 11, Moore shared a poetic post about the meaning of love on her Substack. "Love is in every time and every place. Love is one Love everywhere it goes; however, when we desire, it starts to appear different in different places," she wrote. "It feels as though different relationships hold different loves, but in truth, relationships have various conditions. The presence or absence of desire can change how Love is perceived."

The Ponyboi star was named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2019.

In a 2020 interview with Elle, Moore opened up about her experience modeling during the COVID-19 pandemic and mentioned quarantining with her partner at the time. "I mean, it can be really fun. There are moments where it can be really exhilarating, especially if I'm getting great pictures out of the work that Iā€™m doing," she said of modeling. "I appreciate being challenged in this way and being able to get really creative and hands-on."

Moore added, "It's also frustrating because my partner and I are quarantined here in his home and my partner is supporting some friends right now who are staying here, too. I'm not in a mansion, a high-class condo or any of these things that a lot of public figures who are shooting are probably in."
