Normani's debut solo album Dopamine may have come across more like serotonin on the Billboard charts, but don't count her out just yet, because the singer has a busy 2025 with more music, festival appearances, Dopamine visuals and an upcoming tour all lined up.
While fans wait for more music, the former Fifth Harmonizer recently revealed that her desire is to team up with Miss "Nasty" herself, pop icon Janet Jackson on a joint album.
“I feel like our tones would complement each other’s very well,” she told ‘Galore’ after being quizzed who is at the top of her duet wishlist. “I would love to do something sexy with Janet. Honestly, we could do a whole album! She’s so multifaceted I can’t even tell you specifically what that one song would be, because I feel like between the two of us, we could do so much.”
Normani has always cited Jackson as one of her idols, and even performed a tribute to the megastar by performing her 1986 hit ‘Pleasure Principle’ at the BMI Awards back in 2018.
