Melania Trump Says Memoir Will Share ‘The Truth’ After ‘Misrepresentation’

Melania Trump is teasing the release of her memoir, saying after years of “public scrutiny and misrepresentation,” it’s time for the former first lady to share “the truth.”

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” the former and possibly future first lady says in the promo video released Thursday, which shows images of her touring Africa and hosting events for her anti-bullying “Be Best” initiative.

“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she adds.

“I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth.”

Melania, 54, was born in what is now Slovenia and worked as a fashion model before marrying the billionaire future president in 2005.

Her memoir, “Melania,” is available for preorder for $40, or $75 for a signed copy, with an Oct. 8 release date — coming less than a month before Donald, 78, faces Vice President Kamala Harris in the Nov. 5 election.

Many of Melania Trump’s views aren’t well-known or are the subject of gossip and palace intrigue — such as her absence from certain public events and presence at others.

Although she has taken a less active role in political affairs than some other recent first ladies, she has periodically found herself the subject of controversy when former aides leaked her views.

In one instance, former assistant and friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff shared with the media a recording of Melania griping about expectations that she be intensely involved in decorating for Christmas events.

“I’m working … my ass off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f–k about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?” she said.

Another former confidante, Stephanie Grisham, who also served as White House press secretary, publicized a text message from the then-first lady saying that “no” she didn’t want to put out a statement denouncing violence during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

Does anyone outside of the MAGAt crowd give a damn about a Melania Trump memoir? And is she going to give us a real inside look into her marriage with one of the most polarizing figures in the history of American politics.

Where is she goign to promote the book? On Faux News, Coondace Owens show and over at The Federalist? Last, but certainly not least is she ever planning to divorce DT as well? And why isn't the media bringing up the fact that she hasn't been campaigning with him for another term? Don't hold your breath on her ever esacping Mar-a-Lago.
