After crowning The Vivienne (Liverpool, England) in season one, Lawrence Chaney (Glasgow, Scotland) in season two, and Krystal Versace (Royal Tunbridge Wells, England) in season three, the gay interwebs were a buzz today as BBC Three unleashed the new set of queens vying for the crown and title of the UK's Next Drag Superstar.
Just like past seasons, RuPaul will once again be joined on the panel by Michelle Visage and recurring judges Alan Carr and Graham Norton, where they will determine who gets to stay, and who will sashay away.
While RuPaul continues to make history as the most winning black artist in Emmy history, Drag Race UK's fourth season is about to make a little history of their own.
One of the competing queens Dakota Shiffer will make herstory as the first openly trans contestant to compete on the show, and Danny Beard will be the first bearded queen to sashay and Shantay like a panther on the runway on both US and UK versions of the show.
And last but certainly not least, the judges appearing on the new season are Hannah Waddingham, Dame Joanna Lumley, Alison Hammond, Boy George, Lorraine Pascale, Mel B, Leomie Anderson, Olly Alexander and FKA Twigs.
Season 4 premieres on WOW Presents Plus on September 22.
