Netflix has pulled the plug on Buying Beverly Hills after two seasons.

The unscripted series, which premiered in 2022, centered around Mauricio Umansky and his staff at The Agency, which included his daughters Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky.
Sources say the cancellation had to do with the viewing numbers versus the cost of production.
Although Buying Beverly Hills will not move forward, Netflix has similar shows on deck like Selling Sunset, Selling the OC, and Owning Manhattan.
Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills leaned into the real-life drama between Umansky and his marriage to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. Umansky openly discussed his marital troubles on camera, and the Netflix series also featured several appearances of Richards.
Another issue discussed during the second season was the rift between Umansky and his brother-in-law, Rick Hilton, which would lead to the start of The Agency.
The second season saw a Succession-type storyline as another daughter (Sophia) joined the series to follow Umansky’s footsteps in the family business. Farrah Brittany, Alexia Umansky, and Sophia Umansky became forces to be reckoned with, having each other’s back and protecting the family business from outside partners like Michelle Schwartz.
Buying Beverly Hills was produced by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios and Just Entertainment and exec produced by Brent Montgomery, Pam Healey, Will Nothacker, Justin W. Hochberg, Liz Fine, Adam Sher, Deanna Markoff, Ed Simpson, and Luke Neslage.
No shade, but I'm surprised it was given a second season. Outside of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show centered around Mauricio was just not interesting. Selling Sunset is a far more compelling Netflix real estate reality show.
