Even though this rumor has been floating around back when she was set to kick off her world tour in August, word on the street is that pop icon Madonna is set to release new music alongside the 40th anniversary of her Celebration Tour.
The singer, who is currently in London rehearsing for the tour has quietly released music throughout 2013. Popular, her song with The Weeknd has been doing quite well on the charts, and she also joined forces with Sam Smith on Vulgar.
"Her last album Madame X came out in 2019, but it's no secret that she's been in the studio over the past couple of years, an insider told The Sun's Bizarre column.
As you all know, Madonna had to postpone her tour until October after developing a serious bacterial infection.
There's no word on what the music will sound like, but back in March the singer posted a shot of her on Instagram in the studio with legendary pop producer/songwriter Max Martin.
We also have no idea if it will be an EP, a full album or just one song, but what I hope is that after the artistic division of Madame X, the dated EDM of MDNA, and the bloatedness of Rebel Heart, I'm really hoping for some fun pop from the music icon.
