Is Madonna back in the studio cooking up a follow-up to Madame X?
It certainly looks that way, as the Queen of Pop took to social media to post photos of herself in the studio working on new music.
“Back at it……..,” Her Madgesty tweeted Friday afternoon (Sept. 30) alongside four snaps of herself hard at work in the recording booth. In two of the pics, the singer is hunched over a laptop, transcribing her handwritten notes (or lyrics?), though whatever she was writing has been redacted. In another, she sits at piano, wearing sunglasses and fingerless black gloves with her pink hair in stark contrast to the instrument’s bright red finish.
After the success of her remix album Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, and her collaborations with Saucy Santana, Tokischa, and Beyoncé, it's only fitting that she get back in the studio and give her fans something new.
No word on what her new body of work will sound like, but during her Finally Enough Talk: 50 Questions with Madonna segment recently, she hinted that she's ready to dance, implying that we could be getting a new dance record.
Sickick, who worked on the remix to Madonna's Frozen tweeted is working with Madonna on M15, and it's rumored that he's the main producer.
I don't care which direction she takes musically, as long as the album is fun, carefree and not lyrically lazy.
