Luigi Mangione Could Lose Massive Inheritance Due To Murder Charge

Writer: Kris AvalonKris Avalon

Luigi Mangione's grandmother left behind tens of millions of dollars to her family ... but now there's a strong chance Luigi will be iced out of the will after being charged with murder.

Luigi Mangione’s inheritance of tens of millions of dollars could be in jeopardy after he was charged with m*rder. According to documents obtained by TMZ, his late grandmother, Mary C. Mangione, a philanthropist, left behind an estate worth at least $30 million to be distributed among her 10 children.

The documents suggest that the total value of the estate could be much higher, possibly exceeding $100 million, though the exact amount has not been confirmed. Mary passed away in 2023, and the distribution of her estate is still in the works.

Unfortunately for Luigi Mangione, his recent legal troubles could cost him a significant portion of the family fortune. The money from Mary’s estate was placed in a trust, and the trustees, including Luigi’s father Louis, have the power to make distributions.

However, there’s a specific provision in the trust that could exclude Luigi Mangione from receiving anything if he has been “charged, indicted, convicted of or pleads guilty to a felony.”

This week, Luigi was charged with multiple felonies, including the m*rder of UnitedHealth Care CEO Brian Thompson. Given the terms of the trust, these charges could give the trustees the legal grounds to withhold any inheritance Luigi might have received.
