We’re about a week away from the release from Chromatica, and Lady Gaga sat down with Zane Lowe to dish about the creative process behind her new album, reflects on her past albums, mental health, collaborating with Ariana Grande on Rain On Me, trying unsuccessfully to heal her father’s pain, reclaiming the dance floor, the levels of heartache she experienced creating the new album, being a mentor for up and coming female pop peers, and so much more.
It was quite a compelling interview, and listening to Gaga’s thought process on people, society and how she creates music is quite fascinating.
Chromatica drops on May 29.
