Kylie Minogue Performs Padam Padam On American Idol Finale

International pop music icon Kylie Minogue premiered her brand new single Padam Padam on American Idol last night, and I have to say it was a cute performance. She also performed her huge hit Can't Get You Out Of My head with American Idol contestant Nutsa Buzaladze.

Kylie looked absolutely stunning in a high-slit black dress which she accessorised with matching over the knee leather boots, red lipstick, and her blonde hair had the tips dyed red, as we first saw in the Padam Padam music video.

The Lostboy-produced track is the first single off Kylie's forthcoming 16th studio album titled Tension, which will be released to the masses via BMG on September 22.

I love that BMG is pushing Kylie Minogue's music in the States, because as someone who has continued to give us bop after bop, and has influenced quite a few of your favorite mainstream pop acts (Lady Gaga and Beyoncé are two prime examples) she deserves as much success here as she does overseas.

I'm also hoping BMG throws a little money behind a tour in the US similar to the From Me, From You tour she did during the Aphrodite era (a tour where she spent $3 million of her own money as a way to show thanks to her American fans for supporting her career).
