Kim Kardashian Faces Backlash Over Apparent Show of Support for Melania Trump

Kim Kardashian is facing backlash for showing her apparent support for Melania Trump.

The SKIMS founder posted a picture of Melania during the 60th Presidential Inauguration on her Instagram Story. Kim did not add a caption to the picture, with her silence speaking volumes, according to fans.

The photo of the First Lady showed her wearing a dark coat and skirt from Adam Lippes, as she accessorized the look with a large hat, which covered part of her face.

The post quickly sparked controversy with many slamming Kim, calling her "stupid." Kim has stood silent during the entire 2024 election season.

One person on Twitter, wrote: "kim kardashian is a stupid a-- b---h that supports trump and melania." Another person posted: "Kim kardashian posted a photo of melania trump? Yeah its clear who she voted for." A third person wrote: "Kim Kardashian finally admitted who she voted for." A fourth wrote: "Surprised she wasn’t at the Inauguration even YouTubers were invited or is she waiting till they give her a job to be 'seen' with them officially."

While many were surprised, others put the pieces together and realized that Kim is good friends with Trump's daughter, Ivanka. One person wrote: "Surprised at the same time I'm not surprised ... Kim kardashian is a trump supporter through and through... Like her friends." Another person wrote: "Kim Kardashian is best friends with Ivanka Trump. Of course she’s a Trump supporter."

This comes after the family Kardashian and Jenner family stood silent during Election Day and instead, posted pictures of Kris Jenner's birthday. The only one of the sister's to post anything was Kendall and it was to give her followers information on registering to vote.

Not only is Kim good friends with Ivanka but also, Jeff Bezos and his fiancé, Lauren Sanchez. She has also showed support to Trump's Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk and his robots in a recent post and always showing off her Cybertruck.
