Keanu Reeves To Reprise John Wick Role in Ballerina

We're just four months away from seeing the Baba Yaga back in action in John Wick Chapter Four, and word on the street is that Keanu Reeves is in talks to reprise his iconic role in the upcoming Ballerina movie.

Collider exclusively reported earlier today that Keanu is currently in Prague filming scenes for the action film, which stars Ana de Armas (No Time To Die) in the ballerina role.

It was reported yesterday that Ian McChane, who has played New York Continental manager Winston in all three John Wick films will also make an appearance.

Plot details so far have been kept under wraps, but based on what I have heard, De Armas will play a young female assassin who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family — as Wick has against those who have done him wrong, in all three films released between 2014 and 2019.

There's also no word on if John Wick will be a cameo appearance, or integral to the film's plot, but since John Wick is part of the film, I hope Ana's character will make an appearance in the upcoming fourth film.

Ballerina isn't the only spinoff coming out of the Wick cinematic universe. A three-part series based on the continental hotel called...wait for it - The Continental is set to premiere on Peacock in 2023.

No word on when Ballerina, which is being directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free Or Die Hard) will be released, but since the film is currently filming, I'm guessing sometime late 2023.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is slated for release in theaters on March 23, 2023
