The co-parenting relationship between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian has reached new levels of public discord, as West recently made explosive accusations against Kardashian regarding their daughter, North. On Wednesday, West took to X (formerly Twitter) to allege that Kardashian was "sex trafficking" their children, a claim tied to North's participation in a TikTok video and her involvement in a song by FKA Twigs.
Sources close to Kardashian, however, have dismissed these allegations as baseless and ironic, given West's own recent associations. According to TMZ, this controversy traces back to an emergency hearing last week, where Kardashian reportedly halted North's visit with West after learning that Andrew and Tristan Tate were expected to arrive at his residence.
The Tates have faced significant legal scrutiny, with Andrew charged in Romania for creating a criminal organization and rape, and both brothers involved in sexual assault lawsuits in the United States and the United Kingdom. Despite their legal troubles, neither of the brothers has been convicted, but Kardashian reportedly expressed strong concerns about their presence around her children.
Further complicating matters, West recently released a track titled "LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE" featuring North and Sean "Diddy" Combs, despite promising during mediation not to release the song. Diddy himself is facing allegations of sex trafficking in a federal indictment, which has only added to Kardashian's apprehension about North's involvement with individuals facing serious legal controversies.
During mediation, other issues were reportedly raised, including West's controversial public behavior, such as wearing swastika-themed clothing, a choice that has sparked widespread backlash. Kardashian's sources pointed to these actions as contradictory to West's claims, which accuse her of inappropriate decisions regarding their children.
West's accusations, coupled with his decision to release the song against prior agreements, have further strained the co-parenting dynamic. Kardashian, who has reportedly sought to shield her children from these controversies, has consistently emphasized the importance of creating a stable and safe environment for them. Sources close to her suggest she has been prioritizing their well-being amid the ongoing turmoil.
