Kandi Burruss revealed in a recent live broadcast that four months after the Real Housewives of Atlanta wrapped it's abysmal 15th season, she hasn't heard anything as of yet from producers regarding on the future of the long-running reality series.
Here's what she said:
“They still haven’t told everybody who they’re bringing back. Yeah, they’re over here — they’re being real — …uhhh..[they’re] trippin’! People got lives around here. We gotta make plans for other things.”
In a different interview, which ‘The Neighborhood Talk’ posted on their Instagram, Kandi said that there’s a ‘new cast’ being decided.
“They are still waiting on the new cast, so I can’t tell you anything.”
We have heard rumors swirling that producers were looking to reboot the entire show and bring back at least three of the original cast. No word on if that turns out to be true, but all I know is the series definitely needs some new energy, because the past few seasons have been pretty boring.
