Despite claiming to police that he had just "one martini" before his DWI arrest in the Hamptons early Tuesday morning, sources claim Justin Timberlake was actually "wasted."

Justin Timberlake was “wasted’’ before his DWI bust Tuesday — and even picked up someone else’s drink from the table and downed it when its owner went to the bathroom, a witness told The Post.
“He was wasted. At one point, just before closing, somebody got up to go to the bathroom and left his drink on the table,’’ the source said of the scene at the posh American Hotel in Sag Harbor, LI, in the wee hours.
“When [the man] came back, [Timberlake] was drinking his drink.
“The guy goes, “Justin, that’s my drink!’’ the source said.
Timberlake, 43, was later stopped by cops after leaving the establishment and charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for running a stop sign and operating his 2025 gray BMW outside the proper lane.
He told arresting officers he had just “one martini, and I followed my friends home’’ — while refusing three times to take a Breathalyzer test, according to court documents.
The married dad of two was wearing white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers as he attempted to pass field sobriety tests — which he failed miserably, the papers said.
The cop who pulled him over was too young to recognize the former boy-band star or even know his name, sources told The Post.
Timberlake said under his breath at one point, “This is going to ruin the tour,’’ sources said.
The singer is in the middle of a world tour that includes dates at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan next week.
His star actress wife Jessica Biel was in Manhattan, where she is filming a movie, at the time of her husband’s bust, sources said.
The couple has two young boys.
