Actress and model Julia Fox joined Madonna on night four of the Queen of Pop's highly-anticipated Celebration tour in London where she helped judge her dancers’ sickening moves during the Ballroom Interlude.
Fans were understandably shocked to see Fox take to the stage in what I'd like to call the Unapologetic Bitch/Rebel Heart tour portion of the show, where a celebrity would join Madonna on stage during a portion of the show.
Julia is the latest revolving door celebrity to join Madonna for the Ballroom segment, with previous appearances from FKA Twigs, Diplo and Lourdes Leon.
While those in attendance were having a good time, fans who learned the news from outside of the arena took to social media to air their grievances.
Fox's appearance as a guest judge on the London leg of the Celebration tour comes days after she revealed to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that ahe auditioned to play Madonna's best friend Debi Mazar in the pop icon's biopic before it was eventually scrapped.
“I went to her house and read for her and it was all very surreal,” she told viewers.
Since then, Fox says, the pair “kind of kept in touch.”
When word first spread last year that Fox might be in talks to play Mazar, the Goodfella’s actress took to social media to give her seal of approval.
“I think she is gorgeous, smart, and a very talented actress,” Mazar wrote in a post to Instagram.
“Funny enough, she reminds me more of Madonna when we were young than of myself.
“I’d obviously be flattered. I wish the best to all the gals who audition. If you need dance moves or acting coaching give me a ring.”
No word if Madonna's biopic will be resurrected from the cinematic graveyard once she wraps her tour, but based on recent reports, the two hour concert plays like a biopic for the singer.
