Keanu Reeves is back, and ready to take down everyone who has wronged him, including the High Table in the action-packed teaser for John Wick Chapter 4.
The actor, who was at Comic Con to promote his new Netflix film BERZERKR (based on a comic book he co-wrote and co-created), surprised the crowd with brand new footage alongside director Chad Stahekski.
In the trailer for the Lionsgate film, Reeves’ Wick is first seen getting himself back into shape (after being severely injured in the last film), as the formerly retired hitman is overheard being asked, “Have you given any thought to where this ends?” and told, “No one, not even you, can kill everyone.”
Throughout the trailer Reeves’ Wick can be seen confronting varied bad guys and utilizing different weapons, including beating a guy repeatedly in the head with nunchucks.
Two things I'm mostly hyped for: Martial arts icon Donnie Yen's fight scene against Wick, and his fight scene against Hiroyuki Sanada, who I loved in Westworld and Mortal Kombat.
If there's a fifth film (and I do believe there will be), please get Michelle Yeoh in the next one.
In addition to the returns of Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick, the newest entry adds Yen, Sanada, Bill Skarsgård, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Clancy Brown and martial arts actor stalwarts Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror.
John Wick hits theaters on March 24, 2023.
