Jennifer Lopez Put On Blast By Fans For Being RUDE To Reporter On Met Gala Red Carpet

Fans have accused Jennifer Lopez of being “unbothered” and “dismissive” after a viral moment on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet.

On Wednesday, USA Today reporter Anika Reed shared a TikTok video of the 54-year-old giving her a very curt response to her question, 'Who are you wearing tonight?'

'Schiaparelli,' she answered as she walked up the famous Met Gala steps, where she was being shouted at by more than 20 journalists on both sides of the carpet.

Social media users were quick to call out the Let's Get Loud hitmaker for speaking to the reporter like she was 'a peasant.'

'The up & down stare is crazyyyy,' one TikTok user wrote under the video.

Another sarcastically remarked: 'Social media users were quick to call out the Let's Get Loud hitmaker for speaking to the reporter like she was 'peasant.'

'Her kindness radiates through the screen. I’m deaddd,' a third joked.

'Eww why she have the attitude,' a fourth asked.

Other joked Lopez seemed like a 'ray of sunshine' and 'bundle of joy.'

'That's our humble Jenny from the Block,' another cracked, nodding the mother-of-two's 2002 hit track, in which she sings about how she will never forget her roots despite her fame and wealth.

Reed, the reporter, poked fun at the fleeting interaction in her caption as she wrote that Lopez 'briefly told' her about her custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, designed by Daniel Roseberry.

Lopez's short reply may have been factored by her focus on trying to climb up the stairs in her restrictive gown, which 'took more than 2.5 million silver-foil bugle beads and 800 hours of hand embroidery to make,' according to Glamour

She completed a silver, statement necklace with a matching diamond bracelet and massive ring — all from Tiffany & Co.

For the occasion, Lopez threw her brunette tresses into a chic topknot to showcase her flashy diamond earrings.

Additionally, the star, who rocked a pair of strappy platform stilettos, carried a Tyler Ellis gold clutch.

For makeup, the Marry Me star opted for a flattering, monochromatic brown makeup look with dramatic, full lashes.

She topped it all off with sheeny pink blush and a glossy nude lip.

Lopez served as co-chair for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Benefit, along with Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth, as well as Vogue's Anna Wintour.

Her husband did not attend the Met Gala as he was busy filming The Accountant 2, a a sequel to his 2016 action thriller, in Los Angeles.

Following the Met Gala, she embarked on a trip to Paris with her pal Loren Ridinger.

With JLo's reputation being torn to shreds all over social media for the past few months, instead of taking the online criticism, looking at herself in the mirror and actually humbling herself, it seems she's at a point where she's not even trying to hide her nasty attitude anymore.

I know she wants to put on this J-Lulu front that she's unbothered by all the online criticisms, but she needs to realize that if it weren't for those regular people she looks down on as "peasants," who buys her products, pays for her concerts and watches her movies she wouldn't be where she is today.

It really wouldn't hurt to humble yourself, but with the bubble she prefers to live in it just might be hard for her to be "real," something she claims to always be in her songs.

So get your head out of your huge ass sis, or you will watch your career crumble right before your very eyes.
