20 years after the release of This Is Me...Then, and eight years after the release of her album AKA, Jennifer Lopez is finally ready to release a full body of work again.

The triple threat took to social media to announce that she is releasing a sequel of sorts to TIMT entitled This Is Me...Now.

Fans realized something was up when her social media profile was set to blank images (a similar move before Beyoncé announced her Renaissance album was coming).

She made the announcement via a visual on her Instagram via a video teaser, and even dropped the track list, which includes a sequel to her song Dear Ben (I'm sure you can guess what that song is about).

No word on when in 2023 the album will be released, but in her recent interview with Vogue, she had this to say about her upcoming body of work: “This album is the most honest thing I have done, a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist. People think they know things about what happened to me along the way — but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong. There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone. And I.”

Say what you want about JLo (and I have), but I have to admit I'm quite curious as to what her ninth studio album will sound like.

Even though her third album sold over six million copies worldwide, I hope the album will feature a culmination of sounds and not just be a full-fledged R&B/pop/soul record, because if I wanted to listen to some emotion in my R&B I'd pop on some Mary J Blige and Jasmine Sullivan.
