Shooting is well underway for Scream 6, and we're starting to learn more behind-the-scenes tea about the highly anticipated sequel.
While many fans are still upset that scream queen Neve Campbell will not be reprising her role as Sidney Prescott, we do know that Ghostface will be taking Manhattan as the survivors of 5cream have left Woodsboro behind to relocate to New York City (via Canada, where the film is shooting).
Now Deadline is reporting that Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekota and Josh Segarra have now joined the cast. Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding will be reprising their roles as Sam, Tara, Mindy and Chad, respectively.
Courteney Cox will be back as fan favorite Gale Weathers, and Hayden Pannetierre, who last appeared in Scream 4 will be reprising her role as Kirby Reed.
Radio Silence's Matt Bettinelli-Opin and Tyler Gillett are back to direct the sixth installment, with a release date set for March 21, 2023.
