Congrats to all my people in queer entertainment, all the nominees and winners who showed out at the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards jn Los Angeles last night.
The HBO series Hacks won big, taking home the prize for Outstanding New TV Series. Other winners last night include Saved by the Bell, Eternals, Single All the Way, Parallel Mothers, Hulu’s Changing the Game, HBO Max’s It’s a Sin, and VH1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race and HBO’s We’re Here tied for Outstanding Reality Program.
There was also a proposal that occurred last night, with Survivor alum Zeke Smith proposing to his boyfriend (now fiancé) actor Nico Santos live in front of the audience.
The star-studded evening also featured Kacey Musgraves, who received the Vanguard Award, and Michaela Jae Rodriguez, who was honored with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award from Andrew Garfield. We’re Here‘s Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’ Hara, and Shangela hosted the event, and Jake Wesley Rogers performed.

The remaining 14 categories, including drama series, music artist and children’s programming, will be announced at GLAAD’s New York ceremony on May 6. The awards show will also stream on Hulu on April 16.
