Former Danity Kane Member Dawn Richard Sues Diddy for Sexual Abuse, Assault — Claims She Also Witnessed Diddy Violently Beat Cassie and Abuse Kim Porter

Former Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard is the latest to sue Diddy for sexual abuse and assault.

Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard sued her former boss Tuesday, accusing him of sexual assault and inhumane treatment and also claiming she witnessed him physically abuse his ex Casandra “Cassie” Ventura multiple times.

Richard — who was a participant on Combs’ MTV show, “Making the Band,” in 2004 — claims in court documents obtained by Page Six that she was subjected to verbal abuse by the rapper, who allegedly called contestants “fat,” “ugly,” “bitches” and “hoes.”

The “Show Stopper” singer, 41, alleges she saw Combs’ ex Kim Porter leaving a studio crying with apparent bruises all over her face in 2005.

Four years later, Richard claims she witnessed the Revolt TV founder, who was allegedly “high on drugs” at the time, throw Ventura against a wall, choke her and drag her up a flight of stairs in his Los Angeles home.

The “Ride for You” singer also alleges she saw Combs, 54, throw a “scalding” pan of eggs on the “Me & U” songstress, 38, while yelling, “I’ve been asking you for my s–t; I can’t stand you bitch, you never do it right!”

Richard additionally claims she saw the dad of seven punch Ventura in the face and attempt to strangle her with his bare hands inside his LA mansion.

When Richard and her Dirty Money bandmate Kalenna Harper tried to support Ventura and urge her to leave Combs, he allegedly threatened them, saying: “Y’all bitches don’t get in my relationship,” “Just make money and shut the f–k up” and “You bitches want to die today?” according to the lawsuit.

Richard also claims Combs forced her to rehearse for 48 hours without sleep, causing her to lose a substantial amount of weight, become dehydrated and develop rashes on her body.

Between 2009 and 2011, Richard alleges Combs sexually assaulted her numerous times by touching her near her breasts and butt while she was undressed in a changing room.

“Mr. Combs frequently smacked Ms. Richard’s bare buttocks and often commented on her body, noting that although she was ‘too skinny,’ she had an ‘ass,'” the lawsuit reads.

Richard further claims she witnessed Combs “and several other males gang-banging” his former female assistant at a hotel pool in Glasgow.

She is seeking compensatory damages; a money judgment for mental pain, anguish and emotional distress; punitive and exemplary damages; and for him to cover her attorneys’ fees.

Page Six has reached out to Combs’ rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper is currently facing several lawsuits alleging sexual crimes. He has denied several of the allegations.

He settled a bombshell rape and abuse lawsuit by Ventura just one day after she filed it in November 2023.

In May, video surveillance of Combs physically attacking Ventura in a hotel in 2016 was released to the public.

The Sean John clothing founder subsequently issued an apology for his actions — without mentioning his ex by name.
