Diddy Will Testify In His Upcoming Trial, Attorney Says

Diddy is taking the stand in his upcoming trial. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo appears in TMZ Studios’ documentary “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment” and revealed that he plans to testify in court.

“I don’t know if I can keep him off the stand,” the lawyer told TMZ’s Harvey Levin in an interview for their new documentary, “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.”

Agnifilo said the Bad Boy Records founder, 54, is “very eager to tell his story,” including what happened in the 2016 hotel surveillance video of him physically attacking ex Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Levin, 74, then told Agnifilo that it feels “dicey” to let Combs take the stand knowing he will be cross-examined about the violent video, his alleged “freak-off” parties and allegedly having rapper Kid Cudi’s car blown up due to his relationship with the “Me & U” singer.

“He has his story and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real-time,” the attorney pushed back.

“And it’s a human story. It’s a story of love. It’s a story of hurt. It’s a story of heartbreak. When he describes that relationship [with Ventura], the word he uses more than any other word is ‘heartbreak.’ He was heartbroken, she was heartbroken.”

Last week, Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The dad of seven is currently being held without bail at the same Brooklyn detention center that once housed R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The disgraced hip-hop mogul has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The feds outlined several crimes against the “Act Bad” rapper in a 14-page indictment, including claims that he “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct” for decades.

Authorities also revealed that they recovered 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil, three AR-15s with “defaced serial numbers” and a drum magazine during the March raids on Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles mansions.

However, Agnifilo downplayed the massive amount of lubricant, telling TMZ that his client could possibly be buying in bulk from wholesale places like Costco.

“I mean, he has a big house. He buys in bulk, you know,” he said.

“I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. Have you sat in the parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out of there with?”

Shortly after Diddy's attorney said what he said, Cosco is clapping back over the recent claims that he bought baby oil in bulk from them for his infamous freak-off parties.

A spokesperson told TMZ Thursday that none of the company’s U.S. locations carry the product.

“The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment” airs Thursday on Tubi.
