Don Mancini’s Chucky TV series is finally taking shape. After teasing us Child’s Play fans with a knife-wielding animatronic of our favorite 80s serial killer, and the fact that Brad Dourif is returning as the voice of Chucky, two veterans in the franchise are also reprising their roles for the small screen.
Alex Vincent is back playing Andy Barclay, the longtime rival of Chucky who first appeared in the original Child’s Play, and Christine Elise will be back as Kyle, Andy’s foster sister who was introduced in Child’s Play 2.
Both actors had previously reprised the roles in the most recent original franchise installment Cult of Chucky, with Andy and Kyle taking the fight to Chucky all these years later.
In addition to Vincent and McCarthy, Jennifer Tilly is reprising her role as Tiffany and Fiona Dourif is back as Nica Pierce, the main character of both Curse and Cult. The cast also includes Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Björgvin Arnarson, Lexa Doig, Barbara Alyn Woods, and Devon Sawa, known for Final Destination, the CW series Nikita, and last year’s Hunter Hunter.
Chucky premieres this fall on both USA and Syfy.
