As you all are well aware by now, trailblazing news icon and The View co-creator Barbara Walters died on Friday in New York at the age of 93. ABC News was the first to break the story.
Shortly after, former The View co-hosts Star Jones, Meghan McCain, Michelle Collins, Nicolle Wallace and Sherri Shepherd, as well as other celebrities such as Jennifer Hudson, Viola Davis and Oprah Winfrey shared their heartfelt messages on social media.

Even though Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines did share their thoughts on Twitter, I'm sure The View will do a special In Memoriam for Walters when they return from Christmas vacation this week, which is why I'm giving Whoopi a pass for not saying anything because I know she recently deleted her Twitter.
