Cece Winans Turned Down Appearing In Whitney Houston's I'm Every Woman Video Over Demonic Lyrics

Cece Winans revealed that she was supposed to appear in the music video for Whitney Houston's 1993 cover of I'm Every Woman, but turned down the offer after she deemed the lyrics 'I can cast a spell' as demonic. The song was originally conceived in 1978 by Chaka Khan.

Check out what she had to say below...

Chiiile, bye. Isn't prayer in some shape or form casting some kind of spell?

With the power of prayer, religious people believe some type of mystical shift in the universe is bound to happen.

So miss me with this cuckoo for co co puffs "demonic" BS narrative you're trying to feed to what's left of your congregation.

This is also one of the reasons why more people are disassociating themselves from organized religion.

Quiet as it's kept, the song is so much better without CeCe's uppity ass on it anyway.
