Britney Spears revealed that she cut people out of her life due to 'mind games' in a candid Instagram post uploaded on Saturday.

On Saturday (September 14), the Princess of Pop accused people of playing “mind games” and damaging her self confidence in a post on her Instagram account.
She revealed how she responded to the behavior and how she was moving forward.
Britney shared three older photos on her account, saying that they were “good for self identity, self awareness and self esteem.”
“I can’t tell you how many people I’ve split from this past year because of mind games… sweet naive girl like me and BOOM in two seconds… people can really damage your confidence if you were too open like me,” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “So I’m coming full circle and these 3 pics were the main ones that were identical in looks as my recent gold dress 👗… I like for things to make sense in this crazy world.”
It’s not clear exactly who Britney is referring to. She has famously been estranged from various members of her family since being freed from her conservatorship years ago.
If you missed it, Britney‘s ex-husband, Sam Asghari, made some very rare comments about their divorce in a recent interview.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam explained why he did not read the memoir.
“Because I was there,” he said simply.
If you forgot, Sam met Britney on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016.
“I was focused on work; I was there to be professional,” he recalled. “But at the same time, you know, things happen.”
Britney also felt the spark, and one of her assistants got in touch to arrange a meeting, which he described as “so natural.”
Now that their relationship is over, Sam shared his mentality for moving on.
“When something ends, of course, there’s going to be a moment where you are sad or upset, but just be happy that it ever even happened,” he shared. “Celebrate the past. That’s how I look at it.”
Amid rumors of a potential NDA, Sam said that he simply would never discuss the finer details of his divorce. Why? “If my life is private, it’s private,” he said.
“It’s just the values that I have,” Sam added.
In fact, a friend said that Sam had not even spoken to him about his relationship with Britney.
“I really don’t know too many details,” he explained. “Sam always handled it in an honorable, mature way. But what actually happened? I wouldn’t be privileged to know.”
Sam made one comment, which he confirmed was about his ex-wife and seemingly touched on her conservatorship: “There were so many bad people in their life that took advantage of this person.”
The Princess of Pop was slated to cease paying child support to Federline when her youngest son turned 18 - but it was recently revealed that she may have to continue to make payments until he graduates high school later this year, per People.
Sean turned 19 on Saturday and only two days earlier, his younger brother Jayden celebrated his 18th birthday on September 12.
