We are a week away from Beyoncé releasing her highly anticipated seventh album Renaissance, and just moments ago the singer released the album's track list via her Instagram stories.
The sixteen-track album features intriguing titles such as “America Has a Problem,” “Alien Superstar,” “Church Girl,” “Cuff It,” “Thique,” “All Up in Your Mind” and more, along with the single, “Break My Soul.”
No word on what the album sounds like, but insiders are saying that the record features a mix of house, techno, and country tracks, with production involvement from Ryan Tedder, The Dream, Tricky Stewart and Raphael Saadiq, to name a few.
UPDATE: Less than 24 hours after Beyoncé released the full track list for her highly-anticipated seventh solo album, the singer revealed the list of collaborators who helped put Renaissance together.
Besides the aforementioned The Dream, Tricky Stewart, and Raphael Saadiq, the album also features Drake (which has me thinking that his collaboration on Beyoncé's record may have inspired his latest house album), James Brown, Giorgio Moroder, Moi Renée, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell, Donna Summer and Skrillex.
As I'm reading the list of collaborators (which is way too many to list off) the vibe I'm getting is that the record will be a mix of funk, disco, gospel, house, and ballroom beats (Pure/Honey has Moi Renée listed in the credits, who has an iconic 90s bitch track called Miss Honey and is one my favorite house tracks).
I could be entirely wrong with my theory, but all I know is that I can't wait to hear the album in it's entirety on June 29.
