Beyonce brought the fashions on the cover and inside the April 2023 issue of Vogue France.
The alien superstar took to Instagram to post a series of photos, and video of her Renaissance Couture wearable album co-collaboration with Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing.
“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture, she wrote. "Designing alongside you was freeing-thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself. To the @voguefrance team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world.”
The 16 looks she created along with Olivier comes less than 24 hours after it was reported that Beyonce and her Ivy Park brand have parted ways with Adidas due to weak demand.
According to THR, there had apparently been major creative differences between Ivy Park and Adidas, and Beyoncé is excitedly looking to reclaim her brand, chart her own path and maintain creative freedom.
This is cute or whatever, and I am living for the entire Renaissance era. However, what's going on with those album visuals? I'm here for the wearable album idea, but how is Kidz Bop able to put out a video for Cuff It before the actual artist?
