So The CW does know how to cancel shows on their channel, because after three dreadful seasons, the network has finally given Batwoman the ax.
Showrunner Caroline Dries took to Twitter with the tea, “Just got the sad news that #Batwoman will not be seeing an S4. I am bummed, but full of gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, brilliant people contributed to this series. Thank you producers, cast and crew.”
“Thank you, fans! We love you,” Dries adds.
The debut season of “Batwoman” centered on Kate Kane, played by Ruby Rose, with both the second and third seasons centered on a new Batwoman, Javicia Leslie’s Ryan Wilder.
The series had thus far followed the two different Batwoman characters overcoming their personal demons by becoming vigilantes and fighting crime in Gotham City.
