Bad Bunny is ready to give the gays what they want, this time by kissing on Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal in the film Cassandro, which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
In a series of leaked photos from the film, García Bernal’s character can be seen making out with a character played by Bad Bunny in what looks like a bar.
Cassandro is about a gay Mexican-American professional wrestler named Saúl Armendáriz who grew up in El Paso, Texas near the U.S.-Mexico border and dreamed of becoming a famous luchador.
Once he entered the world of wrestling, Armendáriz created the flamboyant and effeminate wrestling persona Cassandro, known as “the Liberace of Lucha Libre.” As he rose to prominence in wrestling, he challenged the machismo-driven world of the sport and became the first foreign-born wrestler to win a Lucha Libre world title.
This isn't the first we've seen Benito and Garcia Bernal locking lips with someone of the same gender.
In case you forgot, Bad Bunny kissed his male dancer while performing at the 2022 MTV VMAs, and Gael made out with Diego Luna in Alfonso Cuaron's Y Tu Mama Tambien.
Bad Bunny is also set to produce the upcoming queer series They All Die At The End for Netflix.
This kind of film is definitely up my alley so sign me up.
Before the film snatches up a distributor, check out the trailer for the 2018 documentary Cassandro the Exotico! below...
