Aubrey O’Day Claims Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘Groomed,’ Dictated her Appearance During ‘Making the Band’

Aubrey O’Day alleged disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs “groomed” and controlled her appearance while filming “Making the Band” when she was around 21 years old.

The 40-year-old Danity Kane singer - who first met Sean 'Diddy' Combs in 2005 on the third season of the hit show - claimed the musician 'groomed' her and constantly found fault with her appearance during an alleged cycle of abuse.

Speaking on the newest episode of Renee Graziano's Crysis Queen podcast obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, Show Stopper hitmaker O'Day said: 'With Diddy, I saw multiple real things, sides of him.

'I don't know who I was even talking to, who was sober... there was always an element of something going on.'

Revealing the rapper dictated her appearance down to the most minute of details, she said: 'He's on camera saying how much he hates it, then he's off camera telling me all the ways that I needed to be groomed properly, like down to my toenails.

'I was sent out of a studio session one time because my toes weren't polished properly.'

She claimed Diddy called her the 'looker of the band' and alleged 'grooming' was part of his alleged cycle of abuse.

She said: 'After coming off of Diddy, there's not many people you can go into a room with and get that type of high from. grooming is a process, they don't just abuse you on day one. they make you feel like they you get little bits of things that make you attracted and excited by and then once they've got your attention, they let you know about yourself in different ways.'

'It's like the military, they break you down and build you back up into the soldier they need you to be for the country they need you to be fighting for.'

Asked about her thoughts on Diddy's high profile sex trafficking arrest amid claims the musician hosted 'freak off' sex parties, she said: 'Oh I don't think I'm at that point yet. I've got to see how it plays out.

'That's going to be real. that's going to allow the opportunity for Everyone to start talking about what....you know personally as my friend is going through...i can't talk about that though.

'Right now I'm dealing with put-downs and the commentary and whatever. I'm saying what I can, and what was obvious to the world, and what everyone already saw, nothing new. and then I think as this progresses I pray that people will find freedom and get more clarity on their stories because victims can talk to victims, even that cannot happen [now.]

She added that she believes 'there are way more victims. there is a lot more crazy s**t. As this unfolds, more people will be heard.'

Earlier this month O'Day revealed she finally feels 'validated' after years of speaking out against her former mentor Combs.

She spoke out after Diddy was indicted by a grand jury on sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution charges.

Homeland Security officials arrested the rap mogul at the Park Hyatt hotel in midtown Manhattan.

The charge, which details allegations dating back to 2008, accuses him of abusing, threatening and coercing women for years 'to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.'

So far, Diddy has denied the claims, and he offered up a $50 million surety in hopes of securing bail, but a judge denied his bail request, ensuring that he will wait in jail until his trial begins.

In a post on X, Aubrey described the legal action as a 'win for women' across the globe.

'The purpose of Justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this,' O'Day wrote on X on Monday.

'I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me,' she continued, adding, 'Things are finally changing.'

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, she quoted a post from journalist Yashar Ali in which he noted that O'Day 'has been trying to bring attention to Diddy's abusive nature and warn people that he is dangerous. For years.'

He added that O'Day's 'courage' led her to allegedly be 'bullied, terrorized, and threatened.'

O'Day claimed that Diddy 'did worse than that to me,' though she didn't expand on her statement before thanking the journalist for sharing her story.

Later on Tuesday morning, O'Day sounded testy as she replied to an account that urged her to 'hurry up and speak.'

She claimed she had been focused on channels that were more likely to lead to action against the rapper, rather than merely posting on social media.

'I chose to speak to people who could move justice in the way I needed to see it. I've been speaking. Never underestimated that,' she wrote.

Diddy has 'been able to speak briefly to family members and his children via phone' as per People.

The rapper shares a total of seven kids with four different women. He is dad to sons Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, and Christian, 26, and daughters Chance, 18, Jessie and D’Lila, 17, and Love, 23 months.

Diddy's phone call home came amid news his lawyers are not asking for him to be moved from the 'Hell on Earth' Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset, Brooklyn.

'He is very concerned about his kids and their well-being,' the source stated.

'He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated.'

Another source said that the Combs kids are 'in a state of crisis and shock' following Diddy's arrest.

'It's heartbreaking to see the children in the state they're in. This is their father. But to them, he's not Diddy — he's Dad. He has always been a loving, devoted father.'

He shares Christian, Jessie and D’Lila with the late model and actress Kim Porter, who died in 2018 at age 47.

Quincy was Porter’s son with partner Al B. Sure!, and Combs went on to adopt him.

He shares Justin with stylist Misa Hylton, and Chance with businesswoman Sarah Chapman.

In December 2022 he welcomed the arrival of his youngest child, daughter, Love, with model Dana Tran.

On Tuesday Justin, Christian, and Quincy arrived together at a New York City courtroom to support their father.

Combs’s three daughters and 23-month-old baby girl were nowhere in view.

Another source told People that Diddy is not getting any special accommodations at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.

'He is being treated like any other detainee awaiting trial. As with all public figures in his position, he was placed on suicide watch upon admittance to the facility as a precaution.'
