Angry Fans Flood Jessica Biel’s Gushy Justin Timberlake Tour Post After Singer Cancels Concert Minutes Before Showtime

The world tour wasn't ruined in Jessica Biel's eyes.

The actress was inundated with angry messages from fans after her husband, Justin Timberlake, canceled his concert just minutes before showtime.

Biel took to Instagram Thursday night to share a gushy post about Timberlake preparing to wrap up the US leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, but just moments later, the singer called off his final show in Columbus, Ohio, over a case of the flu.

“There’s truly nothing this man can’t do,” Biel, 42, captioned a video montage showing Timberlake, 44, performing onstage throughout the tour as she danced in the audience.

“It’s been so special to watch you, listen to you, and be alongside you for this tour. One last show tonight, give it all you’ve got. I am the proudest,” she added.

But after Timberlake called off Thursday’s concert at the eleventh hour, frustrated fans voiced their outrage in the comments section of his wife’s post.

“He cancelled his last show. This post didn’t age well. Poor guy has the flu real bad,” one person wrote.

“Apparently can’t perform in Columbus because he has now cancelled twice…. Taylor Swift toured for 3 years and only cancelled once for a terrorist plot…” another commented, referencing Timberlake having also pulled out of a June 2024 stop in the same city.

“I wouldn’t know. He cancelled the show. Again,” a third Instagram user wrote.

Others, however, showed their love for Biel and her unwavering support for Timberlake.

“He deserves all the love you give him ❤️‍🔥,” a supporter wrote.

“You are his best supporter 🥹 love you guys 💖💖💖,” another Instagram user commented.

“Thanking you for sharing him with the world ❤️ we are soo proud of his success n hard work,” one fan gushed.

“It’s no wonder people turn off the comments. Wow,” another wrote.

Timberlake caught heat after announcing Thursday night that he had to issue refunds for the Columbus show after coming down with the flu.

“You guys. I’m heartbroken,” he wrote in a statement shared to his Instagram. “I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me.”

“It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen,” he added.

Concertgoers were peeved that Timberlake did not announce that the show would not go on until after the doors at Nationwide Arena had already been opened.

“Canceling bc of being sick is 100% understandable.. Canceling 10 minutes before the doors were to open is unacceptable,” one critic fumed in the Grammy winner’s comments section, while another agreed, “Dude, waiting till the last minute totally sucked.”

Timberlake was also slammed for issuing refunds instead of rescheduling the show, with one person pointing out that he did the same thing for his gig in Oklahoma City in December 2024 after sustaining a back injury. (He also had to postpone an October 2024 stop in Newark, NJ, but did reschedule that one.)

“This is literally the 2nd time this has happened and there’s not even a reschedule. We drove 3 hours and paid for a hotel room and you tell us 5 minutes before it starts that it’s canceled,” a livid netizen wrote, calling Timberlake’s decision “unacceptable.”

Thursday’s concert was supposed to be the pop star’s last Forget Tomorrow World Tour stop in the US. He is scheduled to tour South America beginning March 21 before heading to Europe in May.

Prior to canceling, Timberlake celebrated a mostly successful run in the US and shared how magical the experience was for him.

“Only one more show to go… and I wanted to take a minute to shout out this incredible tour family. These are the people who keep this whole thing running,” he wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday.

“You guys don’t get to see everyone on stage, but without every single person in this picture – none of this would be possible. So much love. Let’s do it ONE MORE TIME tomorrow night in Columbus.”

The former *NSYNC member hit several roadblocks throughout his time on the road, including a DWI arrest in June 2024, during which he infamously told police, “This is going to ruin the tour.”
